The first camera I ever bought was one of those trendy, yet entirely impractical Izone polaroid cameras that came equipped with film the size of a postage stamp. I mostly took pictures of my beanie babies and my feet and stuck them to my binder, but, nonetheless, my admiration for photography started before I had my braces pried off.
After a recent trip to Cambodia in 2007, ideas of where I thought I wanted to take my photography took a polar opposite spin. While working in the orphanages and starting up with the non profit organization, The AJA Project, my focal point has now become the children and the lives that live in the background of their eyes.
I've recently embarked upon the chapter entitled, "Weddings" and successfully completed my first two without ruining anyone's, "most important day in their entire life". I'm looking forward to the many challenges (or headaches) it may bring.
I'll be updating this constantly, so feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
